That's 32 bit v. the 16 bit of the nearest quasi-competitive unit, as well as at least 18 more megabytes of memory.

To ensure unparalleled easy-use, the high performance Optimum T4100 can perform 200 MIPS (millions of instructions per second) v. the typical 1.6 MIPS of quasi-competitive devices. Add to that a printer speed of 18 lines per second (lps) with graphics, compared to the 12.5 lps without graphics offered by others, and it's no wonder that those in the know are quickly moving to Hypercom.
